Plus I have to practice presenting this! I cannot focus at all on my work, there is so much! What do I do? I'm afraid I won't get it done on time! PLEASE HELP!

i was in the same problem a few weeks ago. just take a few minutes and make a schedule. (like, from 1:00-2:00 make outlines). make sure you distibute the work over the next few days u have. also block out any distractions, like, tell your siblings or parents to leave u alone so u can work, and shut of your cell phone(if u have one) and your computer if u go on aim a lot. and from experience, done watch t.v. while doing the project, you may end up doing a bad job.if you just try to focus it will be done in no time. good luck!

Budget your time. Break up your tasks and prioritize them.1. Draw a map–map of what. How long do you think this will take. Do you have parents, grandparents or guardians that can help you or look to see if you’re moving in the right direction?2. Make a timeline–timeline of what? Can Wikipedia’s on-line encclopedia help here in terms of getting dates or years right? Or is this a persoona timeline?3. A social pyramid–I’m not sure what that is. We never had to do that.4. Two outlines–outlines are different from paragraph essays. Do you have to do outlines and essays, or do you have to do robust outlines that function almost like essays because the outlines themselves contain a great deal of information.5. Practice presentation–on what? Your outline/essay work, I am guessing.OK, now tell yourself before you go to bed, you WILL get 1, 2 and 3 finished. As I said, if you break up your tasks, or what you have to do into something more manageable, then it’s a lot easier. On Sunday, you can work on 4 and 5. Tell your parents what you have to do and ask for help if you feel overwhelmed. You’re not alone. Nobody wants to see you fail. They want to see you succeed. But, you’ll need to figure out what it is you need to do with each of these. I’m guessing you’re smart enough to do it. Then, it’s just a matter of time. If you finish a task, cross it off your list and allow yourself to watch a little TV or listen to some music as a reward. Then, go on to the next task. Before you know it, you’ll be finished with a job well done.

Ok, so turn off your computer, put on some easy listening music, then… draw your map, then make a timeline, then a social pyramid and 2 more outlines. Then practice. You really need to shut off any distractions, phone etc. Most of all… Relax. You can do it if you try. Time now to get started.

First of all, get off this site. That is really stalling your time. Also, set an alarm clock or something and work really hard for a period of like 15 minutes. When that 15 mins is up, take a little break and set the clock again for another 15 mins. It really helps for me when I can’t focus. It forces me to pay attention/

Lock yourself in your room until you get the first thing done. Allow yourself a ten-minute break. Lock yourself in your room again. Continue this process until everything’s done. I bet you’ll have it all done today. Also: don’t worry if things aren’t perfect; just try to get it all done. And next time DON’T procrastinate!

Break your project down into smaller parts. Focus on one thing at a time. It’s easy to get overwhelmed when you have a lot to do and little time to do it in. If you break it down into pieces and then do one thing at a time, it seems to feel less overwhelming. Try making a list of all the things you need to do and check off the items as you complete them. This way, you feel a sense of accomplishment once you complete a task and then feel less overwhelmed as your list of “to-do’s” decreases.Good luck!
