Really random question about college? Haha?

So I'm a senior in high school, and I'm applying to colleges. My top school is the University of Oregon. For automatic admission there, you need a 3.4 on a 4.0 scale. I have a 3.0 over-all gpa from high school, and since I didn't have a 3.4, they asked me for my 1st semester senior year grades.I talked to my college guidance counselor and he said that it means that they're interested and they always ask for 1st semester transcripts if you do not have a 3.4.I currently have about a 3.2 right now in my senior year.... If I get like a 3.1 or above, I can probably get in, right? Because that makes sense...The letter said that I have all the requirements (I have a lot of activities and good essay)I know this isn't the right category, but idk where else it would go
